Q: Why choose IDACAMPER to build your camper?
A: We build to standards well above the traditional RV industry; No sticks and staples that fall apart, no flimsy aluminum siding that dents easily, and no composite wall systems that lack substantial R-value.  We won’t cut corners to save a dollar; everything will be built right the first time and built to withstand any and all weather conditions on the planet.

Q: Why choose a custom camper rather than a traditional camper?
A: With a custom built camper, it is possible to match your camper to your lifestyle. You get to be part of the design process and do not have to feel as if you are settling for a design that does not address your needs.  We use only the finest materials, combined with tried and true construction methods, guaranteeing you a quality camper. You are in control of the design, features, budget, and ultimately your life adventures.

Q: How efficient are IDACAMPER campers?
A: IDACAMPER builds some of the most energy efficient campers available.  Energy efficiency is a predominant component in the overall design resulting in a marked reduction of dependency upon energy sources like batteries and solar panels, and fuel sources such as propane, diesel and gasoline.  Increasing the efficiency and reducing the dependency makes life on the road all the more affordable.  In a nut shell, your camper allows you to do more, and go further, with less.

Q: What is the time frame for completing a custom camper?
A: The time frame of building a quality custom camper depends on the overall size and design of the unit and features included.  Once a design is approved and agreed upon, an empty shell can be built in a few weeks; however a completed camper can take 6 months to a year to build.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: Each camper is custom built from the ground up, and the cost ultimately depends upon size, type, and features. The price is generally driven down by sq ft as the unit gets larger.  For empty shells expect to pay $150-$200 per square foot.  For finished turn-key units expect to pay between $350 and $600 per square foot.

Q: What type of vehicle works best with an IDACAMPER?
A: By design, all IDACAMPER campers are built to work within the towing and load capacity of your current rig. With dry weights averaging 25% lighter than conventional campers, IDACAMPER can create a truly custom camper that will work for your lifestyle.

Q: I have a vehicle that needs to be prepped for a camper.  Does IDACAMPER do repairs or offer vehicle upfitting services?
A:  YES!  IDACAMPER is prepared to tackle any and all repairs, alterations, and modifications to a vehicle that will be hauling or towing a camper.

Q: I have an RV that needs some work.  Does IDACAMPER do repairs or offer RV remodeling services?
A: YES!  By design IDACAMPER is a custom camper builder.  However, we are always willing to consider repair and remodeling jobs.

Q: Can I request changes during the construction phase?
A: YES!  You can request changes during the construction process.   Be advised that there may be additional cost associated with the changes and the time table for completion may be effected.

Q: How will I be involved during construction?
A: You will be involved from very beginning. We will work with you to keep you informed of progress.  The method of communication is up to you. IDACAMPER is prepared to offer multiple lines of communication including email, text, teleconferencing, videoconferencing, or any combination of these methods.  You will also have the option of IDACAMPER hosting construction progress photos on a website, either private or public.
